At the heart of our story is Professor Mohamed Bourennane, the scientific founder whose research provides the backbone of the company’s technology. Prof. Bourennane is an internationally recognized expert in experimental quantum optics and quantum communication, with a PhD from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and a career spanning over 20 years. He leads the Quantum Information & Quantum Optics group at Stockholm University and has been elected to the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. His contributions include groundbreaking experiments on multi-photon entanglement, quantum cryptographic protocols, and the development of novel QKD architectures. Under his leadership, the group has delivered a series of high-profile research achievements that have shaped the field and directly informed quCertify’s product roadmap.
